  • Bible Study Everyday! Using the Great Adventure Bible As A New Translation!

I have really been enjoying the Bible in a Year Podcast. Each morning I am able to follow along using the Great Adventure Bible, I wasn’t going to buy a new Bible, but it seems worth it for the correct translation. I am not sure if I ever did morning Bible Study, but I am enjoying it!

Each morning I am following various readings and following along in the Bible. I am recognizing the various feasts or offerings. It has been great to study the Bible directly instead of just listening to the Bible.

I am sure as the year goes on, I will enjoy the readings even more. I can finally see the plan for covering the whole Bible. Right now, I am still waking up and getting ready for the day.

I hope my Bible content isn’t too boring, as I am still learning how to add more content.

  • And It Is “GO Time!” Just Need To Stand Up! Eager To Try Today!

So, I think I figured this out! A new post means I can share what I am up to. I am still trying to figure out my Woobles- Grumpy Bear- I really messed it up but will start again. I am eager also to try to stand- it just needs to happen today- going to try to use a walker and just stand.

I am also reading The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. She is the author of many different books including The Women. I enjoy these books and look forward to reading even more. I challenged myself to reading a book a week. Often I was listening to the books on the Nustep and people tried to talk to me despite using my AirPods. I also need to practice standing.

I am looking forward to getting back on the Nustep each day and building back my cardio rehab plan. It’s important to get back to my 21 minutes (plus 3 minutes each week) to build up to 45 minutes. In addition, I will begin using my Zeen to build up endurance. Hopefully I will be able to stand and walk into my Zeen. It will be important that I stand as well.

Once I am able to stand, I can put away the purchases I made. My brother Tim is going to come over and put up some shelves I bought to put over the toilet as well as putting together the beach walker I purchased (I’ve been looking at this for quite sometime- it will allow me to get to the beach and have a mobility device to use on the beach).

  • The Legacy of An Amazing Grandmother- Francis! She Was Always A Guiding Light!

So I am trying my hand at Crocheting again- trying a Woobles kit. This time it is Grumpy bear! It’s not the easiest but keeps me doing something. I still have quite the vision of my grandmother ripping stitches out of my crocheting when I was a young girl. She was kinda fearless and made so many great creations including my favorite tree skirt that I thought I lost. She also created a lot of special afghan blankets for everyone- Liked to call them “Nanny Blankets.” They were warm and cozy for anyone to use.

The legacy of my grandmother is big! She like I said was a force of nature and always just knew where things belonged even if she didn’t see them for a while. It never ceases to amaze that she knew exactly where things were in the upstairs bedroom even if she wasn’t there for many years.

My Grandmother, Francis, was always getting us to buy yarn so that she could crochet, at the time it wasn’t too expensive so it kept her busy, but now it would be a very expensive hobby. I remember that I brought one of her blankets to Russia to give as a gift to my host family. I wish I had a picture of one of her blankets/afghans to demonstrate her fine detail work.
